How can I connect to a WAGO-Modular I/O-System (Series 750-753) ?

WAGO Modular-I/O-System (Series 750-753) allow to connect via CODESYS V2 ETH or CODESYS V3 ETH protocol available in JMobile Studio.
This FAQ will guide you to properly configure these devices and communication protocols in JMobile Studio.
What to do using CODESYS V2 ETH
To communicate with a WAGO-Modular I/O-System (Series 750-753) via CODESYS V2 protocol, follow steps below.
- On WAGO controller:
– enable communication via CODESYS v2
– check the listening port (default is 2455)
– disable Port Authentication option - On JMobile CODESYS V2 ETH protocol:
– set “IP Address” as the Controller IP address
– set “Port” used by WAGO controller (default is 2455).
Below an example where WAGO controller having IP 192.168.10.1 and using port 2455:
To communicate with a WAGO Modular-I/O-System (Series 750-753) via CODESYS V3 protocol, follow steps below.
- On WAGO controller:
– enable e!RUNTIME
– disable Port Authentication
Below a configuration example:
2. On JMobile CODESYS V3 ETH protocol set “IP Address” as the Controller IP address.
